Watermark Blues

I've gotten a ton of messages from DA members giving me grief about the watermarks on my work, they whine about how it destroys the beauty of my work, some have even gotten around to saying shit about me for putting the watermark up. Honestly anger for the watermarks?! I've been given the suggestion of making my own, less intrusive watermark, and applying that instead of the dreaded and hated DA watermark.
"The DA watermark is ugly and lazy. I have infinite more respect for artists who create a watermark that doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece. It's like looking at the Mona Lisa behind bars through a peephole."
What people fail to recognize or even acknowledge is that I've had a ton of my work reposted, without my exclusive permission, and a lot of it found it's way to pay sites in Europe and in South America, particularly Brazil. People are out there making money off my work to promote their sites with my images and I've not been paid for any of this. Recently i came across a German DJ who is using my work to promote one of his albums online [link] , and yes I'm most likely going to have to sue him and the record label for copyright infringement.

Just because artist, designers, models or photographers post their works on DA doesn't mean you have the right to repost these works elsewhere without their permission, it's a crime.

So excuse me, but i really don't care if the watermarks bother you, you have an option to by a print if the image really strikes you as something you really want to see without the dreaded watermark.
Until people learn to behave themselves and not screw around by reposting others copyrighted works without the owner's permission, you get what i like to give you, so don't look a gift horse in the mouth, ... Argofuckyourself!

My name is Omar, I'm a local Los Angeles area photographer specializing in Fine Art erotism, nudes, Adult and domestic erotic photography.
